Tom Potisit


PIXERF Ambassador Theerachat “Tom” Potisit is one of Thailand’s most
sought after photographer. He embodies a sense of patriotism that has led
him to be an advocate for the upcoming photographer in his home country.

However what he is more known for than his fashion portraits or community
work is his passion to stimulate conversation on relevant social issues through
the use of his lens. Tom has also earned a reputation as a photographer/
conservationist for his contribution to raising awareness on endangered
species over the years He has raised awareness for marine life conversation
b staging a fashion shoot where a Bryde’s whale beached in Samut Prakam.

He raised awareness for organ donorship when he himself went for surgery to
remove a kidney in Bangkok Hospital through an avant-garde and abstract
photo shoot in collaboration with a note photographer Surachai "Pui"
Saengsuwan that received plenty of media attention and more than 500 organ
donor pledges.

Most recently, he was the man behind "Know-R", a photography exhibition
staged on an old rice barge to highlight livelihood of communities along the
Chao Phraya River.
